Dr. Therese Fahner
I am truly thrilled to become a part of the comprehensive, compassionate veterinary services provided by the dedicated team of caregivers at Appanasha Pet Clinic. Animals enrich our lives in so many ways, and I feel fortunate to be able to help families keep their companions happy and healthy. The relationship we share with our pets (whether in the early stages, or after years of unconditional love) will always be at the heart of veterinary medicine, and keeping that relationship strong is my ultimate goal.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dr. Fahner spent the past few years providing care for pets in the Upper Peninsula. She is excited to join the Fox Cities community, and looks forward to serving the families and pets at APC.
Dr. Fahner shares her home with Whitman, Dixon, and Dorian, all Domestic Short Hairs.

I am very excited to be joining the compassionate and experienced team here at Appanasha Pet Clinic. Veterinary medicine fascinates me because it is an ever-changing field where there is absolutely always something new to learn. Thankfully there is always someone to happily give advice on particularly challenging cases. Everyone here works together in such an amazing way to provide the best possible care for every patient that walks in the door. When I am not spending time at the clinic I have a passion for movies, music, writing, and art.

Dr. Jessie Bridges
Dr. Jessie Bridges grew up in southern Indiana surrounded by, not only cornfields, but a multitude of horse farms, beef cattle operations, and small family farms of all varieties. She attended Purdue University for undergraduate study where she gained invaluable insight into animal agriculture and the caring people who devote their lives to its pursuit. Her passion for optimizing animal health and welfare led her to continue her education and pursue a DVM at Purdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Jessie graduated in 2014 and joined a mixed animal practice in New York state. The large Mennonite and Amish community in the area first introduced Dr. Jessie for the need for integrative medicine. The cart horses, hunting dogs, and other working animals of these communities required acupuncture and chiropractic, in addition to all their regular veterinary care, to perform their duties pain-free for many years.
Three years ago, Dr. Jessie and her family moved to the Green Bay area to be closer to family and friends. She joined a local practice and realized that she wanted to provide her patients with more treatment options. This led to her to continue her training for veterinary chiropractic in the Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy Program at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center.
Dr. Jessie’s lifelong love of horses has evolved from riding American Saddlebreds, to hunter/jumpers, to dressage. She spends any free time riding, finding new and challenging forms of exercise, and hanging out with her husband and two daughters.

*Retired December 1st, 2019*
I have been blessed with almost 31 years of veterinary practice. The blessing is because of you, your pets, and the trust you bestowed upon me. It has truly been an honor and a privilege. I will miss you all! Trust me once again in knowing you are in great hands. The Appanasha team is my second family. Without them, I wouldn’t be here. They have guided, coached and mentored me. They will always be there for you, as they have for me.
So, my next chapter begins. I will spend more time with my family at our cabin. My son has caught way too many fish without me! I will help a dear friend manage a 200 acre farm near Black River Falls. I will exercise more and eat less…Appanasha’s break room is always full of goodies! I will continue to be blessed.
I Sincerely Thank You,
Marty Heindel, DVM
Dr. Murray Hurlburt
Retired April 1, 2020
Dear Clients and Friends,
Throughout the past 20+ years at APC, I have had the privilege of serving pets and people who have become my second family. In the past year, and particularly during the past month of COVID-19 influence, I have re-evaluated the goals of my life and the strong desire to devote more to my first family. So, it is with mixed emotions that I share with you the news of my retirement, effective immediately.
I can do this only because I know that the entire staff at APC is so talented, dedicated and capable of taking care of all those who I value. They are positioned, both during these very challenging times and as we progress into the future, to serve you in the best way possible.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to visit with each of you to personally thank you for trusting me with your pets’ care and to wish you the best in the future, but please know how grateful and respectful I am. I will try to touch base with those of you whose pets I am currently deeply involved with treatment, and will also be in contact with APC veterinarians who will continue to provide your pets with individualized, compassionate care.
Wishing safety and good health to your entire families,
Dr. Murray Hurlburt
