Dr. Monica Dickson
Dr. Monica Dickson was born and raised in Wild Rose, WI, where she grew up with many animals. She graduated from Wild Rose High School in 2016 and continued on to graduate from UW-Eau Claire in May of 2020 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Monica attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign where she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2024.
Dr. Monica has had a passion for animals since a young age and has always wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up she volunteered at multiple shelters and has been working in the veterinary field since 2017. She believes one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine is not only helping the animals, but also building relationships with her clients and their pets for a lifetime. While she loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, her areas of interest include preventative medicine, dermatology and the care involved with geriatric patients.
Currently, Dr. Monica has two cats that she adopted as kittens from the same litter, Phoebe and Joey, as well as two mixed breed dogs, Henry and Lola. During her free time, Dr. Monica enjoys taking her dogs hiking and camping, being out on the water and spending time with family and friends.
