The practice of veterinary medicine includes so many different aspects of diagnostic, surgical and medical care. I believe it is important to work with the owner when integrating all the information and possible treatments, and then provide the best practical plan that benefits the patient and the owner.

What Our Clients Say

  • "My parents brought our family dog to Appanasha when I was growing up. I’m on my 3rd dog and I still go there. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I am always confident my pets will receive the best care possible."
    Jeff Brown
  • "Without their great, knowlegable and caring service I'm not sure if I would even have my dog. Thank you to everyone for their help with Molly yesterday and back in April. I truly appreciate everything you have done for our family, I would be lost without her."
    Andrea Van Oudenhoven
  • "Absolutely the best care EVER for your furry friend. From the second you walk in the door at reception to the amazing staff and doctors you work with, you will know that you are in the best of hands."
    Jodi Noordyk
  • ""I just moved back to the area and I am so very relieved and pleased Appanasha and Dr. Hurlburt were recommended to me! I came in (like a storm) with my oldest cat having horrible mouth pain. Dr. Hurlburt was so wonderful and patient! His gentle demeanor and his true care for my boy made his recommendations to get him better for dental work let me have a lot of faith in a vet I had only just met. My cat is almost 15 years old and the fear of him not making it through dental with anesthesia was a real challenge but I knew Leo couldn't have been in better hands with Dr. Hurlburt and his vet technician Deanna. If you are looking for a vet...I can promise, you won't regret choosing the Appanasha staff! (And yes...my old guy made it through!) :-)""
